Skill & Age Based Categories
Our categories are primarily skills based, to create well defined Grassroots Cable Wakeboarding events that are inclusive to all riders.
In the Amateur and Rookie, skills-based categories we have age brackets, but mixed gender categories to further improve inclusivity and diversity, whilst striving to provide as much of a level playing field as possible.
The Advanced categories still have age brackets, but have their own gender based categories to mirror the Elite Competitions these riders may be riding in.
Below we will highlight which skills we expect to see in each of the categories based on the NEW ‘Rookie Roadmap’ and ‘Road To Pro’ development programmes.
